This policy explains what information ScalesBySuzy (operated by Artwork by Suzy, LLC, d/b/a Software by Suzy) collects and how it's used.
When you create an account, we collect your email address (via our authentication provider, Supabase). When you subscribe, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number.
Your email is used to manage your account, send billing-related notifications, and provide support. Subscription and billing status is used to determine your access to the Service.
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Stripe for payment processing. Each has its own privacy practices governing the data they handle on our behalf.
We retain account and subscription data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your personal account data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
We collect data about your in-app activity — such as scales practiced, instruments selected, and session frequency — to provide the Service, track your feedback-based extension eligibility, and improve the app. This usage data is tied to your account but is not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to understand how the app is used (e.g., which features are used most) so we can improve it. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or sell it to ad networks.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email or through an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
